Anna Kournikova doesn't play tennis any more but her impact on game popularity was huge mainly because of her beauty and much less because of her game, so I felt she definitely deserves place among the hot female tennis players list.

Kournikova was born in Russian capital Moscow, on the 7th June 1981 and her full name is Anna Sergeyevna Kournikova while her nickname is "Murzik" which on russian means my little pet (very appropriate, I must say). She's 5' 8" (173 cm) and she started playing tennis at the age of 7 when her father started teaching her the game. Anna Kournikova was talented tennis player but because of her beauty her talent was always second best.

Anna was known during her active tennis career as the sexiest girl in the world and she turned the attention of many fans to herself and the game itself making tennis more popular than it was before. In March 2004 Anna retired from professional tennis not achieving great deal in the game, considering her greatest success was Wimbledon semifinal in 1997.

Anna used to date a hockey players Pavel Bure and Sergei Fedorov before eventually falling in love with singing star Enrique Iglesias. In 2002 she was world's sexiest woman according to the FHM magazine. Anna Kournikova has a tattoo of a sun design on her lower back and her measurements are: 32B - 24 - 34.

Kournikova once said: I'm like a menu at an expensive restaurant, you can look at me, but you can't afford me.""I'm beautiful, famous and gorgeous."
